What这是什么

flâneur° 是一本城市漫游日记：首页是一张深色的世界地图——发亮的标记是写过日记的城市，微光的小点是到过的每一处足迹。点进亮点，是那座城留下的文字与照片。

flâneur° is a journal of cities. The dark map on the homepage is a world of its own: glowing pins are cities with journals, faint dots are every place I've been. Behind each glowing pin are the notes and photographs I brought back.

Why flâneur为什么叫 flâneur

flâneur 是十九世纪巴黎街头的一个词：以观察城市为业的漫游者，没有目的地，只是走。这个站是那些散步的书面版本——地图是路线，日记是脚步。

A flâneur is a nineteenth-century Parisian street-walker whose only occupation was observing the city. This site is the written-down version of those walks — the map is the route, the posts are the footsteps.
