Walking Up the Opera House Roof
Placeholder post · this entry only exists to demonstrate layout — waiting to be replaced by a real one.
The Oslo Opera House has the best roof in Scandinavia, and you’re allowed to walk on it. No fence, no ticket, no queue — just a slope of white marble rising straight out of the fjord.
Climb up at sunset and the roof becomes a public bench: teenagers with take-away sushi, a runner doing intervals along the edge, tourists lying flat on the warm stone like lizards.
The fjord holds the light longer than the sky does. Ferries cut white lines across it, heading for islands that are already dark.
